REPTYL / PRIVACY

WE DON’T COLLECT IT.

One policy for every Reptyl app and this website. The short version: what you log stays on your iPhone.

Overview

Reptyl is run by Nilesh Madhavji, a sole trader in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). This policy covers every Reptyl iPhone app (Sets & Reps, Timer, Workout, Water, Scoreboard, Coach, Distance, Food) and this website, reptyl.co.uk.

The short version: the apps collect no data. There are no accounts, no adverts, no analytics and no tracking. What you enter stays on your iPhone.

What we don’t collect

  • The apps don’t send anything you log to us or to anyone else.
  • There are no accounts, so we hold no names, emails or passwords.
  • There are no adverts, no analytics and no third-party code that tracks you.
  • We never sell or share your data, because we never have it.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter (timers, sets, meals, drinks, scores) is saved on your iPhone, inside the app. If you delete the app, its data is deleted with it.

Each app has Export my data in Settings. It makes a file you can save or send wherever you choose, and Import brings it back, for example on a new phone. Where that file goes is up to you.

Your iPhone’s own backups (to iCloud or a computer) may include the app’s data, under Apple’s settings and Apple’s privacy policy.

iCloud

Sets & Reps syncs your log with iCloud when you’re signed in to iCloud on your iPhone. The other apps don’t use iCloud sync. Synced data is stored in your own private iCloud account, run by Apple. We can’t see it or get to it. You can turn iCloud off for an app in your iPhone’s Settings.

Scoreboard: sharing nearby

Scoreboard can show a live score on a friend’s phone nearby. It uses your local network, so iOS asks your permission first. The score goes straight from phone to phone. Nothing goes online and nothing is sent to us.

This website

reptyl.co.uk uses no cookies for visitors, no Google Analytics and no other third-party tracking. It loads no fonts or scripts from anyone else.

So we can see which pages help people, our own server keeps simple daily totals: how many times each page was opened, roughly where visits came from (for example “a search engine”), and how many people tapped through to the App Store. These totals don’t include your IP address, your device or anything else that identifies you, and they can’t be linked back to you.
